Dinner on the sofa, breakfast in bed or an hour on the laptop – this large cushioned lap tray from Bosign keeps everything steady. The bean-filled base moulds to your lap for a stable, comfortable surface, while the anti-slip walnut wood top stops plates and devices sliding.
Designed in Sweden by Harald Hynell, it measures 46 x 38cm, big enough for a full plate and drink or a 15-inch laptop. The salt-and-pepper grey cotton cushion zips off for washing, making this one of the most practical lap trays you can buy.
A smart addition to the home office that helps keep clutter under control. Pair it with other Bosign pieces for a coordinated look, or give it as a present that feels personal.
Machine washable on a gentle cycle — reshape and dry flat.

Left one in there for my mother-in-law's visit. She asked where it was from before she'd unpacked, which she doesn't do out of politeness.

One corner had a light mark out of the box. You'd miss it unless you went looking. A month of mugs has added fainter rings, so it all matches now.

My daughter took one to uni. She eats at her desk and was using a folder as a mat. She says this at least has a lip, so noodles stay on it.
