I take a mug up in the morning. On the duvet the old one used to skate. The cushion underneath means I can set it down and actually drink the tea while it's hot.

I thought it would be squashy. It's more structured, which is why it doesn't tip, so I see the point. Took a few evenings to stop noticing the edge of it.
