The cosy is steel and it works, which I say as someone whose tea is usually cold by the time I've poured. A litre is two mugs and a bit, or three if you're being polite. Pours without a river down the belly.

My standard is low and my previous pot failed it. This has a spout that aims. The handle doesn't heat up through the cosy arrangement. Afternoon pot is a small ceremony again, which I'll admit to.

Lifting a full pot one-handed is a choice. I use two hands, like a sensible person. The tea stays hot enough that I forgive the weight. Empty, it's an ordinary pot.
